Purpose Statement:

Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Association exists for the sole purpose of serving God by ministering to churches and pastors.

Our Mission:

The mission of the Mount Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Association is to support local churches in the global mission of reaching people for Christ; indoctrinating them with the Baptist faith and practice; transforming them into Disciples; and conforming them into Christians (Matthew 28:19 – 20).

Objective:

The overall objective of the Mount Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Association is to partner with each church and the pastor to fulfill Christ’s mission in the entire world and to edify every believer through an organized Christian Education curriculum for senior adults, middle-age adults, young adults, youth and children (Romans 12:1-3, 9-18).

 

This will be achieved by:

 

• Recognizing and acknowledging the importance of each church and pastor (Ephesians 4:11b – 12; 1 Peter 2:9-10).

 

• Providing whatever encouragement possible to help the church and pastor achieve their overall objectives through Leadership Development Conferences; Personal Ministry Development Seminars; and annual Christian Education Conferences (Ephesians 3:16-21).

 

• Cooperating with the church, district, state, national, and international denominational bodies, to make Christ known to the entire world (Acts 1:8).
